A Project Manager/ Frontend Web Developer / Sysadmin
Cover letters can be a little dull don't you think?
I'm a Web guy, so I think it should be Web based at least.
Since I have a mixed set of skills rather than a single specialized profile, I hope this helps you understand it. I think I'm a pretty competent professional, so let me share what I've done and what I think I can do for a company.
The most commonly asked questions about my work history and professional profile. I've also added some helpful tags for each profile
I've been working in the same company since 2011. It's a small sized company that comprises three different areas:
WSI does Web development and Digital Marketing.
First Consulting Group does training and consulting.
Matchpoint does Franchise consulting and pure Digital promotions.
I started as an Intern and eventually worked up my way to Project Manager.
My previous PM left a mess, he was pretty bad at organization
So I set out to make everything right and created an entire methodology based on Agile/Kanban.
I created a 5 stage methodology with milestones and deliverables that enhanced customer satisfaction and cleared the lifecycle of our Projects.
I later retooled everything to make sure we used version control, issue tracking and continuous deployment in our internal cycle.
I now realize this might be considered DevOps.

I've been responsible for the Web Design and User Experience In around 100 websites we've developed and launched.
I specialized in Frontend Design and CSS/JS Frameworks.
I favor Bootstrap and Foundation, but have used many different ones and many tools.
Early I insisted we made everything Responsive / Grid Based. This worked in our favor when Google decided to update their search algorithms (mobilegeddon).
I was contacted and worked with Packt Publishing as a Technical reviewer in 2 books. I used SASS, HTMLint and got pretty good at simplifying and refactoring code.
I also handle SEO, both technical and Frontend with pretty good results (and I'm undergoing Google Partner Certification).
I've integrated, unified and managed a couple hundred of domains for a few years. I've also been a keen Linux user for 12 years.
I'm proficient with server management for Web Hosting, particularly in GNU/Linux based servers although I have also managed Windows Server installations.
I've handled every subsystem in a web hosting environment: Web Server, Databases, Mail system,Package management, FTP servers, monitoring, security.
Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Shell Scripting, Postfix + Sendmail, Maldet, Clamav, AWS, Openshift, Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server.
